Woman Accidentally Texts Her Engagement News To Sarah Michelle Gellar And Gets Loads Of Congrats
When a guy pops the question and a girl says ‘yes’, the first thing she does after that - she takes her phone and tells all her family and friends great news. One Georgia resident, Charlyn Willis, acted the same way. After her boyfriend proposed to her and she agreed, Charlyn was so happy that she immediately started texting and calling her relatives in order to share her joy.
One of the people she messaged to was supposed to be her sister. But excited Charlyn got the wrong number, and her sister didn’t receive it. However, the person who did get the message instead of Charlyn’s sister was the famous actress Sarah Michelle Gellar. The “Buffy” star didn’t miss a chance to congratulate Willis on her Instagram and Facebook. Sarah shared Charlyn’s photo and captioned:
This is #CharlynWillis. She got engaged yesterday and meant to text her sister, but in all the excitement, got me instead. Please help me say congrats to Charlyn. (And her fiancé whose name I don’t know).
When Charlyn realized her mistake, she was shocked and surprised. She wrote:
Thank you, Sarah... You’ve truly made my engagement experience even more of a life changer! Please know when we set a date, I’ll be reaching out to invite you, Freddie, and the kids!
So yeah, Willis and her fiancée got an excellent gift for their engagement. The first thing is that they’ve been congratulated by the famous actress, and the second one – they’ve got numerous greetings from many other internet users. Some of Sarah Michelle’s fans decided to support their favorite actress in sending messages to Charlyn, so Willis and her husband-to-be got so many congratulations that they could barely answer them all.
So that's how an unexpected mistake can turn an engagement into even more fun.
