Pregnant Kate Middleton Says She's Been Less Involved In Sports Since Having Kids

The Duchess of Cambridge was at the Bond Primary School in Mitcham on Wednesday where she had a good time playing tennis with the children.

Less time for tennis

The pregnant mom, whose passion for tennis is no secret to her many fans, visited the school to witness the effort of the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative. At the end of her visit, while speaking to the kids, the Duchess said she had a fantastic time playing the game with them.

And I love tennis. I think it's a great sport, I was really sporty when I was little, less so now that I've got lots of babies.

We can certainly understand how being a hands-on mom to Prince Goerge and Princess Charlotte, plus expecting baby number 3 while also keeping up with her royal duties, might leave less time for sports.

Despite not being as sporty as she would have liked, the Duchess still finds time to engage in a game here and there. During a visit to the National Tennis Centre in London last year, the royal took out time for a coaching session with some of the kids.

Being pregnant certainly did not stop her from holding her own on that court.

Her mothering instinct at a royal event made headlines

As a mom to two adorable cuties and one on the way, Kate's motherhood instincts are obviously as sharp as ever.

During a visit to Coventry, England, she came across a young boy named Craig Skipper. The 10-year-old was looking pale and ill. Kate immediately went to him and asked if he was okay. The quick-thinking mom then asked one of her bodyguards to get a sickbag for the boy.

Fortunately, Craig felt better a little later and Carole Flynn, a learning mentor at the school, was quite impressed with how the royal handled the situation. She said:

She really took time with him. You can tell she is a mom and has got that caring side.

Clearly, she's more than prepared to handle another royal baby who, by the way, is reportedly due to arrive sometime in April.
