Young Love: High School Boy Makes Special Anniversary Gift For Girlfriend Using Roses And Cardboard

Date October 18, 2017

Most people are of the opinion that a gift is more meaningful when it's actually made by the giver. To be able to put in your time and effort to create something from scratch for someone you love is usually a testament to how much you value that relationship. It is already perfect regardless of how imperfect the present itself turned out to be. This is exactly why these set of photos have been going viral on Twitter.

Even though Cesar Longoria is only a high school student, you can tell he is a pretty spectacular boyfriend and he knows exactly how to put a smile on his lady's face. As a way to celebrate the one year anniversary of dating Fabiola Coronado, he decided to make her something, but he had no clue that his effort would actually go viral.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Cesar said all he wanted to do was make her feel special, and he came up with the idea to create a gift for her using flowers.

First off, he cut out a cardboard and shaped it into the number '1', after which he printed out and pasted a bunch of pictures of them as a couple on the back. Finally, he filled the front with gorgeous red roses. Seriously, this is incredible in its simplicity, right?

Cesar posted the photos on Twitter to show his friends what he made for his girl, but before he knew it, the post garnered nearly 95,000 likes.

Things got even sweeter when Fabiola proclaimed that she loved the present very much. She told Yahoo that it was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for her.

It makes me so happy to know that him being an amazing boyfriend and the gift he worked hard on got acknowledged by so many people all over the world.

Fabiola also shared a Twitter post where she expressed her appreciation of Cesar's efforts. Well, we think she's a very lucky lady.

Speaking of awesome DIYs, there is really no limit to what you can achieve when you get creative with making something yourself.

A YouTuber, named Amber Scholl, shared a pretty cool DIY for making your own flower bouquet. So, instead of spending $500 shopping for one, you can make it for a fraction of that amount.

You only need some flowers, scissors, ribbons, foam board, knife, spray paint, and a circle cardboard box, and you are well on your way to creating something really amazing for that special someone in your life.

So, get inspired by these creative people and let that special someone know how much you value them by making the sweetest present from scratch.
