Matthew shared with us his secret and understanding, which is probably enough to make your life successful. No more expensive books and life coaches! Here are only three things that matter to Matthew each day in his life:

Someone to look up to, something to look forward to, and someone to chase.

Three essential things:

1. God is who Matthew looks up to.

When you got God, you got a friend. And that friend is you.

That is the simple truth we always forget. We forget that this friend can bless our lives with opportunities and support. We forget that this friend is someone we can rely on.

Family is who and what he looks forward to.

A hero is who Matthew wants to chase.

When the actor was only 15, he got asked who his hero was. After several days of thinking, Matthew came up with the idea of himself but in 10 years as a hero. After 10 years had passed, Matthew realized that he didn’t become the hero he wanted to be. The point is that the actor’s hero is always 10 years away. He accepts the fact that he cannot catch up with his hero because it keeps the actor with someone to keep on chasing.

Matthew McConaughey's family

Camila Alves has indeed been a true inspiration for Matthew since the first time they met in 2006. For the actor it was definitely the love at first sight:

I went in my head, ‘This is not the kind of woman you call over across the room, McConaughey. Get your ass out of your chair and go get her.’ Which I did.

Today, their family is happy and strong, as they have three beautiful and healthy children. We hope it will last forever for Matthew.
