Sterling and Ryan Michelle's love story
Sterling K. Brown and Ryan Michelle Bathe's relationship story has more twists than the This Is Us script. Today, the lovebirds are one of the sweetest couples in Hollywood, however, few people know that Sterling and Ryan broke up for three years before reconnecting.
Bathe and Brown met when they were students at Stanford University. They were neighbors in the same dorm and performed in plays together. In one of her interviews, Ryan Michelle recalled she was impressed by Sterling’s talent during his early audition:
I snuck in and I saw his audition, and I thought to myself, 'If this man can do this at 17 years old, my God. What could he do when he becomes a grown man?'
The stars became friends soon after that. Later, the couple found out they bonded over their birth history. Brown and Bathe were born in the same hospital in St. Louis.
At college, they dated other people, but eventually, their relationship turned into a romantic one, and they ended up dating in their senior year.
After college, Bathe and Brown broke up for more than three years before getting back together again. Sterling confessed he had to work up a sweat to win her back.
I have to go tell this woman she's the love of my life.
The lovebirds got back together and married in June 2007. They have two sons.
Brown and Bather currently star together in the popular television drama This Is Us. Once, Ryan opened up they can do different things together except one, and that's rehearsal.
Rehearsing is one of those things we can’t do together.
During his speech at the Emmys 2017, Brown gave a tribute to his wife and children and thanked them for their love and support.
Sterling and Ryan Michelle’s romantic story had many ups and downs, but despite it all, the couple proved that their love has no expiration date.
