We have already seen a lot of videos and read a lot of stories about parents' unconditional love. Yes, mothers and fathers do everything to support and protect their kids.

This dramatic story happened many years ago, at the East River. A 2-year-old girl slipped and fell from a ship at South Street Seaport. Her father, David Anderson, immediately jumped into the water to save his little daughter. Witnesses said there was no sight of a doubt in his eyes - everything happened so quickly and reminded a scene from a movie.

The girl appeared from the water with her father. The crowd's hearts dropped when they noticed the baby was motionless, but a couple of seconds later, she started crying. When the girl opened her eyes, her father sighed with relief:

She was laying on her back, looking up at me, terror in her eyes. The fact she was crying, I knew she was fine.

Witnesses said the man acted like a true hero. Anderson confessed he was really afraid, though not for his own life – his only concern at that moment was his daughter’s safety. The man explained the emotions took over him, he didn’t think at all, but just knew he had to react very fast. That was actually what the brave father did.
