Recently, while promoting the upcoming season of her Netflix show, Fonda explained she was wearing a bandage on her face after a surgery. The actress was diagnosed with a lip cancer. She noted:

I just want to explain the bandage. I just had a cancer taken from my lip. I don’t normally go around like this.

Fonda also shared her ‘after-recovery’ photo on Instagram. The star wrote:

With Lily in NY. I’ve found a clever way to disguise my lip bandages from removal of cancer.

Fortunately, the world-favorite star says she feels much better now and keeps on recovering. Jane is a wonderful woman because she managed to handle the whole situation with her particular sense of humor. She joked in her latest interview:

The world is falling apart. What's a lip?

That was not the first time when Fonda faced an unpleasant disease. In 2010, the actress was diagnosed with a breast tumor. Luckily, after it was removed, Jane said she was completely fine. She is one of those women who take all life difficulties with dignity and strong faith in the best outcome.
