First Lady Melania Trump and the late Princess Diana may look like two completely different persons. The latter was born in Norfolk, England in 1961 and officially became Lady Diana Spencer in 1975 when her father became an earl.
Her marriage to Prince Charles pressed upon her royal duties. She became the most popular princess to join the British royal family. She was a mother of Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry, who is officially known as Prince Henry of Wales.
Melania, on the other hand, was born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia in 1970. She rose from humble beginnings to become a much sought-after model. And in 1998, she met Donald Trump. The duo was married in 2005, and now, they have one child, Baron Trump.
Melania became the US citizen in 2006. Her husband’s current status made her the First Lady of the United States.
Experts say they have a lot in common
Their origins may tell a different story, but both women were born in the same decade. And some experts say that both women share one particular characteristic. Their body language.
Royal insiders and sources familiar with the British family say that Princess Diana was a very shy person. Her reluctance to stay in the spotlight was very well documented. It is reported that the late princess was never so keen on public appearances, especially those that necessitated her being presented in an official capacity.
Melania can often be seen with the president at public events but usually maintains a reserved demeanor. Judi James, an expert in the science of body language, once shared her thoughts on Melania after seeing her at 2017 presidential address to Congress.
James said that Melania "is the show-stopper who looks terrified of stopping the show. The show is, of course, her husband's and he's not a man with a love of being upstaged."
Still, both women feel pretty comfortable around children. James predicts that Melania may well be on her way to becoming a figure much like Princess Diana in the near future.
Their dress sense too strikes a chord
The times may have changed, and wardrobe choices are too. In addition, Princess Diana is also likely to have had even more restrictions on her wardrobe than Melania. However, there are some marked similarities in the styling of both ladies.
1. White strapless dress
2. Ultimate blue with black details
3. Pink dress with flowers print
4. High Waist
5. Strapless in black
Finally, it is possible that Melania uses some of Princess Diana's fashion tips. Sometimes, photos can tell.
