Besides the princes, friends and family of the late Diana were also interviewed. The main focus of the film was Diana and the numerous social cause she contributed to. Particular attention was paid to her work with AIDS, cancer, land limes in homelessness.

The show drew about 7 million viewers in the UK alone. It was considered the most watched TV program at the time.

Prince William posthumously introduced his children to Diana

During an interview in the Princess Diana documentary, Prince William was asked how he manages to keep the memory of his mother alive for his children. His response was tear-inducing to say the least.

I think [by] constantly talking about Granny Diana. So we’ve got more photos up ‘round the house now of her, and we talk about her a bit and stuff. And it’s hard, because obviously Catherine didn’t know her, so she cannot really provide that level of detail.

So I do regularly, putting George or Charlotte to bed, talk about her and just try and remind them that there are two grandmothers, there were two grandmothers in their lives, and so it’s important that they know who she was and that she existed.

It is quite sad that Diana did not live long enough to meet her grandchildren. However, it is clear that she still will be a big influence in their lives.

Princess Diana is regarded as the Ideal Mother

The Church of England conducted a poll about the ‘ideal mother’ in March this year. Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, Mother Theresa, and even fictional character Mary Poppins made the list. But the results were quite surprising.

One would expect Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, to top the list, or even Mother Theresa.

However, the late Princess Diana was the most popular choice, beating every other contender. She even had a five percent lead on the Jesus' mother. What are the odds?

ComRes conducted the online poll with 2,015 adult respondents. They were of varying ages, genders, and social grades. This is ample proof that even in death, Princess Diana is still very loved by the British people.
