The daughter of Kurt Cobain doesn’t appreciate her father’s occupation, but still wishes he was there for her. Frances seems to have her own music preferences and finds nothing special about her father's past life. However, she loves Kurt wholeheartedly and is proud of being a daughter of such a great person.

Kurt's Legacy

Frances Bean Cobain is the only child of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Hole frontwoman Courtney Love. The story of their romance was rich but, unfortunately, not lasting. Frances lost her father too quickly, even without spending enough time with him.

However, Frances will forever remember her beloved father, even though his music doesn't appeal to her. The fact that her middle name was chosen because her dad thought she looked like a kidney bean doesn’t embarrass her at all.

Having lost her father in 1994, she was eventually raised in female surrounding. Frances is now working in the modeling business, posing for different photographers for various magazines.

Sorrowful Announcement

Recently, the world has seen the documentary about the Nirvana frontman. In the film, Frances gave a rare interview where she expressed her musical preferences:

I don’t really like Nirvana that much grins. Sorry, promotional people, Universal. I’m more into Mercury Rev, Oasis, Brian Jonestown Massacre.

She doesn’t feel uneasy when pronouncing such words as she frankly says she likes different kinds of music. There is nothing personal in here, just pure preferences of hers. Nirvana is amazing rock band with millions of fans all over the world. Unfortunately, according to the famous saying "Many men, many minds," even if you are Cobain, it doesn't mean you have to love that music.

Immortal Devotion

Regardless of the documentary interview, Frances doesn’t miss a chance to show her love and respect to her deceased dad. Unfortunately, celebrities do not always have time to spend with their kids. They have to sacrifice their personal life to succeed in their careers. Kurt made Nirvana great indeed, but he was devoured by the contagious fame which strikes so many celebrities. Those who are not ready to resist, end up poorly.
