It is so touching and inspiring to see two people find each other and truly fall in love. Former Miss America Deidre Downs Gunn married her girlfriend on Saturday, April 14, 2018, and the wedding ceremony was absolutely amazing.

Deidre Downs Gunn won the title of America’s most beautiful woman back in 2005. Time has passed, and now she is 37 years old and working as an obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in infertility and reproductive endocrinology.
Deidre’s significant other is Abbott Jones, a writer. The two met online on February 17, and it didn’t take long for Downs Gunn to realize that she is the one. The woman told it was love at the first sight when they met up for sushi and drinks.
The women share the same interests: travel, champagne, Harry Potter, and music. Deidre proposed to Abbott right after her favorite TV series Dr. Who special Christmas episode. In response, Abbott proposed to Deidre as well and asked her 8-year-old son for his approval.

During the ceremony, the son walked his mom down the aisle and acted as her best man.
The two brides were looking absolutely astonishing in their dresses. The most important part of the ceremony was when it came to exchanging vows. Downs Gunn opened up about her feelings:
