We're not just talking about RV's, which are the best option if you want to take a road trip across the country and don't want to sacrifice your comfort. Some people are able to live in a Camry, a minivan, or any other type of vehicle. Seems strange at first, but if you're prone to minimalism and can easily organize your day-to-day life, you might find some financial benefits in this type of a living situation.

Making a dream house out of the school bus

Inspired by the idea of a traveling house, one creative Reddit user actually built a home out of a school bus. According to him, he was able to purchase the vehicle for $2,200 and make it his own.

Aspiring future homeowner thought it would be easy to achieve his goal, but the task was much more demanding than it first seemed. Throughout his venture, the Reddit user had to learn to work with wood, metal, electricity, and water. The bus required the removal of seats, insulation, walls, and many other parts, after which the handy rebuilder was left with only the bus' structure.

Once the Reddit user installed the steel sheets and new insulation in his future home, it started to look very spacious and like something good can actually come from it.

After the creative homeowner finished all structural and repair work, as well as filled his bus with the IKEA furniture, it ended up looking amazing.
