Born on October 9th, 1993, the 24-year-old American country music singer is famous for being the winner of the tenth season of 'American Idol'. At the age of 16, Scotty auditioned for the tenth season of the singing competition singing “Your Man” by Josh Tuner and “Put Some Drive in Your Country” by Travis Tritt.
Soon after winning the competition, he released his first single “I Love You This Big,” and in 2011, his debut album titled “Clear As Day” became available. That album got first position on Billboard 200, thus making history!
He became the first country singer that obtained No. 1 on Billboard 200 and the youngest man who got such result with his debut release.
